An Evening with Andrés Cárdenes
From the venue:
Venue: St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church
The Atlanta Chamber Players open their season at beautiful St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church featuring the return of Grammy-nominated violinist Andrés Cárdenes – back by popular demand from our 42nd Season. The first half of the program will treat audiences to Mozart’s Violin Sonata No. 32 performed by Cárdenes and our Artistic Director, Elizabeth Pridgen, followed by Moszkowski’s exciting Suite for 2 Violins and Piano, where Cárdenes and Pridgen are joined by ACP favorite, Helen Hwaya Kim. The concert closes with Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 1, with special guests, Yinzi Kong of the Vega Quartet, on viola and Charae Krueger on cello. This concert is presented in cooperation with Kennesaw State University School of Music.
