Lula Wiles & Marshall Ruffin

Out of Boston, Lula Wiles is a powerhouse, harmony-driven trio featuring Ellie Buckland, Isa Burke, and Mali Obomsawin on a rotating front-woman cycle of fiddle, guitar, and upright bass. With tours supporting the likes of the Wood Brothers and Aoife O’Donovan under their belts, the band just made their debut at the Newport Folk Festival in RI, and has a new album set to be released on Smithsonian Folkways in January of 2019. Marshall Ruffin is an Atlanta-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has been writing and recording since 2007. Ruffin was recently the guitarist and backing vocalist for Lonnie Holley, with whom he recently toured Europe. His song Light The Way was featured during their session in London at BBC Radio 6. Ruffin was also the winner of the 39th Eddie’s Attic Songwriter Shootout in 2013.
