Guggenheim Fellow and UGA alum Meghann Riepenhoff’s work has been celebrated for its innovation in combining photographic chemicals and nature’s rhythms. Riepenhoff will discuss her cynotypes, in which images are made by immersing photographic paper in bodies of water, charting a river or the ocean’s ebb and flow.
Riepenhoff’s work has been exhibited internationally, published in the New York Times, Time Magazine LightBox and Photograph magazine and has won numerous awards.
