13th Annual Sources of Urban Educational Excellence Conference

Georgia State University’s Alonzo A. Crim Center for Urban Educational Excellence will host the 13th Annual Sources of Urban Educational Excellence Conference on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Georgia State University’s College of Law (85 Park Place NE, Atlanta). Ayoka Chenzira, Division Chair for the Arts at Spelman College, will serve as the keynote speaker for the conference, which will examine urban education from multidisciplinary perspectives as it addresses this year’s theme, “It’s About Visibility! Narratives, Critiques and Collective Understanding.”

Conference registration costs $35 and covers attendance to all presentations; breakfast, lunch and a dessert bar; and admission to Saturday evening post-conference mixer.
