In 1923, Margaret Mitchell interviewed Eva Baker, matriarch of Barrington Hall, about her memories of the December 1853 wedding of Mittie Bulloch and Theodore Roosevelt, Sr. Join us at Barrington Hall on December 1st and 2nd for performances of “The Bridesmaid of Barrington Hall,” a dramatic recreation of that historic interview. Atlanta actress Holly Stevenson brings the interview to life with her first person portrayals of Margaret Mitchell, Eva Baker and President Theodore Roosevelt himself. After the performances, join us for a formal tea.
