From the venue:

For many years now, the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute, the Atlanta Psychoanalytic Society and the Atlanta Foundation for Psychoanalysis have maintained an active community presence in the city of Atlanta by organizing movie screenings, followed by discussions with local psychoanalysts and psychoanalytically oriented community members. We are excited to invite you to a new edition of Movie Mania! Join us for a screening of The Shape of Water on Friday, the 30th of November, 5:45 pm at White Hall 205 on the Emory University campus.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro, The Shape of Water is a wonderfully complex and heartwarming romantic fantasy tale. This 2017 feature film has won wide critical acclaim and several national and international awards, including the Oscars. Take a look at the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFYWazblaUA.

The movie will be followed by a discussion with Kendle Jenkins (MS, LPC), President of the Atlanta Psychoanalytic Society.
