The community is invited to watch short films by and about Clark Ashton, the artist of Druid Hill, on 7pm, Monday, Dec. 10th, at Avondale Towne Cinema in Avondale Estates.
For the last 30 years, Clark Ashton has created a sculpture garden that thousands drive by everyday on busy North Druid Hills Road, yet few stop long enough to truly appreciate the depth and beauty of the work. Here’s a chance to get up close and personal. A 2017 Atlanta Artadia Awardee, Ashton’s work includes mechanical sculptures, painting, video, and performance elements.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the artist, along with live music.
