Mike Rickard: ‘Out Loud’ CD Release Party

Mike Rickard returns to the Red Light Café to celebrate the release of his 3rd full length album, ‘Out Loud.’ While ‘Out Loud’ is a pop record, the search for truth and meaning is ever present in Rickard’s lyrics. As an out singer/songwriter, Rickard uses music to tell stories and explore themes based on moments taken from personal experiences, being in a long-term relationship, or observing what’s happening in the world around us. The lead single, ‘Six Queer Kids,’ was written to raise awareness about the homeless LGBTQ youth epidemic here in Atlanta and other major cities in the US.
