VA Virginia Schenck & Friends Celebrate International Jazz Day

Critically-acclaimed Atlanta singer Virginia Schenck, known by stage name VA, will join the annual International Jazz Day celebration as the Atlanta host with a special concert at City Winery. Presented by UNESCO and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz, #JazzDay brings jazz artists from around the globe together each year on April 30 to celebrate the power of jazz as a creative and cultural force. The exclusive performance featuring VA & Friends is set at City Winery (650 North Avenue, Ponce City Market, Atlanta, GA 30308) on Tuesday, April 30. International Jazz Day is the culmination of Jazz Appreciation Month, which draws public attention to jazz and its extraordinary heritage throughout April. Schenck’s show is one of the thousands of International Jazz Day 2018 events taking place in over 190 countries around the globe.
