All films in The Strand’s Silent Film Series, the only one of its kind in the state, are accompanied live by Strand organist Ron Carter on The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ, making seeing one of these classic films a one-of-a-kind musical and visual experience. Each film also features an organ pops pre-show concert beginning thirty minutes before showtime.

ABOUT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Cecil B. DeMille’s first rendition of the Ten Commandments was this 1923 silent film, one of Hollywood’s first true epics. Divided into two parts, the first half follows the biblical story of the Exodus before moving forwards in time to the story of two modern day brothers.
