Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is part of The Strand’s Page to Screen Book Club, a monthly book club where members can read and discuss the books that inspired the movies shown on the big screen. This May, Page to Screen dives into the angsty foil to Ferris’s fun-loving free spirit with a reading of Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger.
Page to Screen meets in the Lumiere Lounge before the film to discuss the month’s book, then moves into the auditorium to watch the story play out on the big screen.
