Historic Oakland Cemetery is a showcase for Victorian funerary sculpture and architecture, a botanical preserve with cultivated gardens, and a stunning cultural landscape in the heart of Atlanta. Rich in subjects and scenes, Historic Oakland Cemetery is a photographer’s dream setting.

Join other Oakland enthusiasts and photographers for a 90-minute photography walk through one of Atlanta’s oldest historic sites. Our experienced guides will provide hands-on instruction to capture the architectural details and design of these magnificent stone structures. This will be an excellent opportunity to practice macro and architecture photography.

Whether you are a seasoned photographer or still learning the basics of your camera, you will discover tips and techniques to improve your skills. Oakland’s photography guides will be on hand to discuss your images and provide feedback on improving your shots. The guides will take you to different sections of the cemetery.
