Conscious Capitalism Atlanta: Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Thursday June 6, 2019 06:00 PM EDT
Cost: $20

From the venue:

Join us to hear how a brewery and a group of filmmakers are taking hunger, homelessness, and poverty head-on in Athens, GA where one in five people are food-insecure and the poverty rate is 36% – nearly twice the state average. Through the short film Get Comfortable, see how courageous companies can unify stakeholders in the community and drive awareness, increase engagement, and provide support for nonprofits. It’s a story about making some of the comfortable people of Athens get comfortable being uncomfortable, and about how good companies are good neighbors.

Chris Herron of Creature Comforts, Andrew Levy of Chispa House, and Jamie Scott of The Sparrow’s Nest will share the story of their partnership on the Get Comfortable Campaign that Creature Comforts founded in 2015.
