SCADFILM Storytellers presents Soundtracks: A Music Licensing Workshop

Monday June 17, 2019 11:30 AM EDT
Cost: Free-$15

From the venue:

Using recognizable music to help tell stories is a staple in film and television. Soundtracks build the tone and mood of a film or series. The songs could be complementing story in a traditional way – playing up to expectations – or could even contradict audience expectations completely. Either way, the power of the soundtrack is undeniable.

On June 17th, SCADFILM Storytellers Series examines how the use of songs in movies contribute to the narrative. Representatives from Georgia Lawyers for the Arts walk attendees through the ins and outs of licensing music for film and television projects. Your ticket includes access to the evening sneak preview screening of “Yesterday” at 7 p.m.
