Wild Cumberland presents “Carol on Cumberland: A Natural History,” as a 2021 Georgia Humanities Grant recipient.

This FREE virtual programming is being held in conjunction with the Atlanta Science Festival to help us better understand the Island, its history, and the forces threatening its natural resources and environmental protections.

We’ll be broadcasting LIVE from Cumberland Island so that you can have an opportunity to ask Carol Ruckdeschel your questions. These two programs are completely unique, so be sure to register and attend BOTH events:

Saturday, March 19 1:00 - 2:00 PM
Sunday, March 20 1:00 - 3:00 PM

Atlanta-area residents can join Wild Cumberland for a special in-person “watch party” at Piedmont Park Community Center during Sunday’s event. Our volunteers will be onsite with additional information (and special giveaways!).

These events are FREE, but you must pre-register!
