Storytelling Open Mic: Rest

Bring your 5 to 7 minute true, personal story about REST. In a society that prioritizes grind culture and constant productivity, we want to hear about REST as the antidote. Tell us about how a person, community, or place provided respite from what was ailing you. A time when you felt restful or restless. Tell us how you learned the importance of rest or how rest transformed your life. If you want to share your story with others, please put your name in the hat! We want to hear your stories. No essays, standup, or poetry, please.

PLEASE NOTE: Attendees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the venue. Photos of vaccination cards are acceptable. If there is a medical reason preventing someone from being vaccinated, the attendee is required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result that is no older than 3 days prior to the show’s date in order to enter the venue. There are no exceptions.

Masks are encouraged but not required.
