CL Critic Todd Prusin Recommends: Kaukonen and Bromberg, both seasoned musicians who are still touring, despite being into their ’80s and ’70s respectively, are friends who have been intersecting on the road for 30 years. Their language is borne out of a love of each other and the various types of American music that has buoyed their lives, and ours, for decades. Jorma’s fingerpicking is a national treasure and Bromberg’s big band is a hoot…both at the same show will be fireworks in a bottle! -TP
