Meet the Author with Wanda Lloyd

Georgia Writers Museum is honored to feature renowned journalist, Wanda S. Lloyd, on Tuesday, March 14th, as the March “Meet the Author” presenter at 12pm (doors open at 11:30am). Lloyd will be presenting her memoir, Coming Full Circle: From Jim Crow to Journalism. This will be a free event; Lloyd will be presenting via Zoom from Savannah. Wanda Lloyd retired from daily journalism after her role as an editor at seven daily newspapers, including The Washington Post and USA Today. In her last newsroom role she was executive editor of the Montgomery Advertiser in Alabama. She was awarded the Ida B. Wells Award for media diversity. Spelman College awarded her an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters and she has been inducted into the National Association of Black Journalists Hall of Fame.
