Ambos iniciaron su boom musical al integrarse a la Súper Banda de Venezuela GUACO, una orquesta de música bailable que comenzó como una agrupación de gaita zuliana. La banda ha conseguido dos Grammy Latinos al Mejor Álbum Tropical Contemporáneo 2016 y 2017. En guaco, Luis Fernando permaneció por veintiséis años. En septiembre de 2021, anunció su salida de Guaco, cerrando formalmente esa etapa musical con una exitosa gira por Estados Unidos. Ronald se une a la banda en el año 2002 y tras once años con la Súper Banda de Venezuela, Guaco, Ronald Borjas decidió separarse del grupo. En este transcurso de tiempo anunció su carrera musical como solista.
