CRITIC’S PICK: There’s arguably no up-and-coming artist who’s been more integral to the progression of Hip-Hop in 2023 than Sexyy Red. Although she had been familiar to some internet rap sleuths thanks to her viral 2018 track “Ah Thousand Jugs,” Sexyy Red fully captured the culture’s attention when she released her Tay Keith-produced single “Pound Town” this past January. A viral wave of fandom and a career-altering Nicki Minaj guest verse later, Sexyy Red has officially solidified her status as one of Hip-Hop’s most exciting rappers to watch, and later this month, she’ll bring her “Hoods Hottest Princess” Tour to Atlanta for two shows  — one at the new experiential venue The Dome on November 11, and another at the Buckhead Theatre on November 14. — Joshua Robinson
