CRITIC’S PICK: Join Alya Ensemble founding artists Jean Gay and Amy O’Dell in collaboration with flutist Matthieu Clavé and percussionist Paul Stevens for a presentation of eternal echoes: ethereal music of mystery, recognition, and expansion. This palindromic program features 20th and 21st century music for flute, cello, and piano inspired by George Crumb’s Vox Balaenae and created to instill a gentle state of freedom, expansion and timelessness.
