It’s the end of an era. The opening for Beep Beep Gallery’s last show ever, It’s Not Us, It’s You, is upon us. Stop by the gallery on Sat., Dec. 5, from 6-11 p.m., to say goodbye to a place that supported Atlanta’s arts scene in an invaluable way. The group show includes works from 20 artists, all featured in the gallery before. Among them, you’ll see works displayed by Jason Kofke, Michi Meko, Born, Alex Kvares, Jason R. ?>> Extreme Weather, a group show curated by Meredith Kooi, opens on Thurs. Dec. 3, at the Murmur space on Broad Street. The exhibition, a project of Altered Means, explores our current relationship with climate change and various aspects of our environment. Featuring works by Mike Calway-Fagen, Channel TWo, Rachel K. ? Barry Lee brings new works to Octane Westside on Fri., Dec. 4. His show, I Promised I Wouldn’t Do This, brings together his collaborations with other Atlanta artists like Alan Chiang, Anne Elser, Catlanta, Yoyo Ferro, Kevin Bongang, Amanda Pinney, Caleb Morris, Blackcattips, Daniel Rodda, Daniel Haire, and Mac Stewart. The works have a nautical spin with plenty of sea monsters, mermaids, and sailors. Grab a drink and peruse the quirky show from 7-11 p.m.

? >> The folks at Paper Ghost Studio are celebrating a birthday on Sat., Dec. 5 — 365 days of showing art in their Candler Park gallery. It’s a Wrap! is part holiday art show, part birthday party featuring new framed art, handmade prints, holiday cards, and even wrapping paper. We hear cookies and mulled wine will be on deck so grab your mittens and get in the holiday spirit, from 6-10 p.m.
