Ever wondered about the story behind the Erskine Memorial Fountain on Cherokee Avenue (at the intersection with Ormond Street)? Did you know it was Atlanta’s first public fountain, dedicated more than 123 years ago, and part of the Grant Park landscape for more than 100 years? By supporting the restoration of Erskine Memorial Fountain you will be supporting a vital piece of Atlanta history in Grant Park. Come SERVE and CONSERVE by joining Friends of Erskine in leading a grassroots effort to restore and make history as we EAT, DRINK, DANCE, and FUNRAISE together! ALL proceeds of the event will go directly to the Erskine Fountain and will be doubled by Grant Park Conservancy’s Park Pride matching grant. Food and drink by Eventide Brewing, Full Commission, Ria’s Bluebird, and Mediterranea. Music by The Band of Desperate Men, Jimmy Galloway, and Origin Mile.
