Art In The Park

Each year, thousands of new and loyal patrons converge on the Marietta Square during the Labor Day weekend to enjoy and purchase wonderful works of fine arts from our incredible local and national artists. This year has been incredibly difficult for our artists as virtually every art festival nationwide has been cancelled in the interest of safety during this pandemic, this includes the Marietta Art in the Park festival.

We thought we’d offer the Marietta Art in the Park Market virtually this year. If you are able, buy some art and keep an artist working.

Marietta Art in the Park, an Atlanta Labor Day weekend tradition is celebrating its 35th year! The three-day juried Fine Art Festival takes place on the historic Marietta Square in Glover Park and attracts over 45,000 guests. This professionally managed event is ranked #9 by Sunshine Artist Magazine in the 100 Best Fine Art & Design Shows, is consistently awarded a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society and is the only fine art festival held in Cobb County.

The adjacent streets are closed allowing for fast, easy access for set up/tear down and easy traffic flow for patrons. The Marietta Square is one of the top destination spots in the state and has been as voted the best place to live/work/play featuring restaurants, boutiques, quaint shops, museums and ample parking. In addition to the artist market, Marietta Art in the Park hosts the very popular Children’s Art Alley with loads of free make and take art stations and the Chalk Spot, a sidewalk chalk art display.
