!!! Teaching Critical Thinking Skills is our Business!

Chess offers a variety of benefits to players of all ages. These benefits relate to skills developed by studying and playing chess. Not only will the student and player improve their reasoning skills, memory and recollection, objective decision making, communication skills, and concentration, but also develop a sense of confidence in their own abilities. Such skills will eventually develop a capability to problem solve using critical thinking, a key benefit of our program focused on teaching Critical Thinking Skills™. Our program, thinkCHESS, is a rebranding of Championship Chess of Gwinnett, a program established in 2015 with the objective of providing children and aspiring chess players with Critical Thinking Skills™ while enjoying the game of chess.
