Today, Afropunk revealed that the first Atlanta installment of the multicultural music festival will take over Central Park the weekend of Sat., Oct. 3 and Sun., Oct. 4. For those who are unfamiliar, Central Park is the Fourth Ward West location that hosted the Shaky Knees festival in May.
The announcement falls on the heels of two successful Atlanta shows earlier this year featuring performances by Run the Jewels, Curtis Harding, Sza, and Baby Baby.
No further information about the Atlanta festival is available yet, but keep an eye on afropunk.com for more information coming in July.
