- FREE PARKING: Anarchists disable 45 meters on Edgewood Avenue
An Atlanta anarchist group has taken up arms (or at least industrial-strength epoxy) against PARKatlanta, the private company contracted to enforce parking for the City of Atlanta.
Late Sunday night, the group hit a string of parking meters along the Edgewood Avenue, 45 in total, using adhesive to render the coin slots inoperable — quite literally sealing motorists' fate in the process.
