Atlanta Jazz Festival 2025

The Jazz Festival has announced its 2025 lineup and will take place at Piedmont Park, in the heart of Midtown, Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 24, through Monday, May 26, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day, presented by the City of Atlanta - Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs.

About the Atlanta Jazz Festival

Atlanta Jazz Festival is regarded as one of the largest FREE jazz festivals in the country. An annual celebration of the music, culture and art of jazz begins in April and culminates each Memorial Day weekend, with an outdoor festival featuring jazz artists from all over the world.

The mission of the Atlanta Jazz Festival is to expose and entertain a diverse audience of Jazz aficionados, young Jazz enthusiasts and aspiring musicians to the rich heritage and variety of Jazz as an authentic form of American music.

Atlanta Jazz Festival is produced by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. It is FREE and open to the public. Atlanta Jazz Festival is funded through the support of corporate sponsorships as well as Atlanta Jazz Festival, Inc., a non-profit entity dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Atlanta Jazz Festival.

Piedmont Park Information

  • Admission: The Atlanta Jazz Festival at Piedmont Park is free and open to the public
  • Kid Zone: This area will offer games and interactive play for all ages
  • Food Vendors: A variety of food vendors will be onsite serving BBQ, gyros, burgers, Caribbean food, and more
  • Shopping: Browse the vendor booths for unique items including art, clothing, and jewelry

Piedmont Park rules

During this year’s Atlanta Jazz Festival, the following rules will be strictly enforced in Piedmont Park:

  • NO GRILLING
  • NO PETS
  • NO STAKING OF TENTS
  • NO GLASS BOTTLES OR CONTAINERS
  • NO SMOKING
  • NO BICYCLES OR SKATES

Transportation

You may bike to the festival and use the free bicycle valet located on 10th Street near Park Tavern. If you drive, please note no parking is allowed on neighborhood streets surrounding the festival. You may only park in paid parking lots. One of the best ways to travel to the festival is to use public transportation.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of WCLK, Jazz 91.9, the Atlanta Jazz Festival is presenting WCLK At 50, featuring Lil John Roberts with an Atlanta All-Star Band, along with some very special guests
