Atlanta Jazz Festival is one of the country’s largest free jazz festivals and a long-running Memorial Day weekend tradition in Atlanta, bringing major jazz artists, crossover performers, and jazz-focused community programming to Piedmont Park.
Festival Overview
Produced by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, the festival is free and open to the public and serves as the centerpiece of a broader month-long celebration of jazz in Atlanta.
Atlanta Jazz Festival has grown into one of the city’s signature cultural events, connecting Atlanta audiences with internationally known artists, local talent, and a broad view of jazz as a living, evolving art form. The festival’s long-running presence in Piedmont Park has helped make it one of the most recognizable annual music events in the city.
