Atlanta’s most iconic New Year’s celebration was put on indefinite hiatus in 2019. The 2021 Peach Drop was cancelled due to COVID concerns.

About The Peach Drop

New York’s got the ball, and since 1989 Atlanta has had the peach. On New Year’s Eve, thousands of Atlanta residents and tourists descend upon Underground Atlanta to watch the giant peach drop.
