Zack Fox (formerly known as Bootymath) found artistic footing in creating visuals for Awful Records folks but unearthed a true purpose by way of his bizarre Twitter account. The content is rarely SFW — take for instance, a June 29 tweet reading, “im starving havent eaten ass in days go fund me” — but does a masterful job marrying hip-hop, internet culture, and apathy. Since 1979, WABE (90.1 FM)’s Lois Reitzes has given mental massages to undercaffeinated commuters and dentists’ patients with her velvety roller coaster of a voice while she churns out Debussy, Bach, and Mozart from Atlanta’s “home for the classics.” In mid-April, she joined Twitter. So began the cheerful banter with listeners and random thoughts one normally finds on Twitter, though with a twist sprung from the heart and mind of the city’s muse.
