ChangeFest is a free outdoor festival that kicks off today (Sat., April 18), and features performances by the Glenn Phillips Band ft. Cindy Wilson of the B-52’s, the Swimming Pool Q’s, Starboarders, and more. Robert Schneider's acoustic set has been canceled due to an injury. Guitarist Timothy Price will perform in his place.

Positive social change is the theme of the event, and organizations such as Habitat For Humanity, Street Grace, Midtown Assistance Center, Lutheran Community Food Ministry, and others will have booths set up where folks can learn more about their efforts. Food trucks and Atlanta Beer and Hymns will also be on-hand, and the ChangeFest Kid’s Zone will feature games, inflatables, and a playground to keep the kids busy.

The fest takes place in the parking lot of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer at the corner of Peachtree and 4th Streets in Midtown. Free parking is available in the deck at the corner of 3rd and Peachtree.
