Atlanta rock ’n’roll purists Biters tease out the Aug. 7 arrival of its Earache Records debut Electric Blood with the “Restless Hearts” video. The scene was shot locally over several days by Video Rahim (Visualuxury and Echotree Media) and Ashley Simpson, who more or less have become the official Biters videographers.

There’s a lot of visuals to digest in this three and a half minute ode to danger and sleaze, including a pretend cop being assaulted by a donut, simulated police car theft, and singer and guitarist Tuk Smith not getting injured or killed by standing on the trunk of a moving convertible. And as the outtakes reveal, real cops briefly entered the fray during the filming of one of the driving scenes.

A busy week for the Biters camp caps off on Sun., July 5, when Smith and drummer Joey O’Brien play a Heart Attacks reunion at the third annual Fuck You We Rule, OK! festival in Tulsa, Ok. Also playing in this version of the Heart Attacks is lead singer Chase Tail (DINOS Boys, Easy Magick) and guitarist Dave “the Wave” Klein.
