No Child Left Behind takes over the Mammal Gallery
The Mammal Gallery hosts No Child Left Behind, an artists showcase featuring 11 bands across two stages.
The Mammal Gallery, in coordination with Speakeasy Promotions and Tight Bros Network, is hosting the No Child Left Behind showcase this Saturday (March 8), which features 11 bands across two stages for an evening of tinnitus-inducing debauchery.
Whether it’s the squawky noise-dance of Boston troublemakers Guerilla Toss, the playful psychedelia of Brooklyn-based Cloud Becomes Your Hand, or the grating aggression of fellow Brooklynites YVETTE, No Child Left Behind offers sounds for a variety of sensibilities.
A number of local favorites are stopping by with post-punkers Warehouse, noise-pop counterparts T.V. Dinner, genre-benders Faun and a Pan Flute, confrontational no-wavers Polish Nails, and haunting droners AkuYou all fighting to ensnare your eardrums.
No Child Left Behind. $5-$8. Sat., March 8. 8 p.m. The Mammal Gallery, 91 Broad St. 404-771-6912.
