How a magazine of such stature came across this particular Kickstarter campaign, and why they would report on such clearly farcical endeavor is a mystery, although they clearly recognize the humor that's on display. But take a look at the counter on the Kickstarter page and you'll notice that, as of publishing this post, 37 people have backed the project by donating more than $1,900. It's still a long way from the project's ultimate goal of $5,000,000, but you've got to start somewhere, right? Only 24 days to go!

As it turns out, the "Kickstarter Guy" in question is Wizard Smoke guitarist Dan Nadolny, and when asked to explain himself, he replied: "I see it as a matter of efficiency. Daniel Stern is a beloved actor who has never failed to make me snicker, and history has been rather unfair to the Spin Doctors. Containing them both in an informative yet entertaining biopic would be a real treat."
