#FelaATL: DJ Kemit and the rest of the crew behind the popular nightlife event Spread Love have joined forces with the folks at the Knitting Factory to present #FelaATL, an homage to the Afrobeat stylings of Fela Kuti. Featuring music by a host of DJs (such as Chris Nicholson, Mike Zarin, Ausar and, of course, Kemit), live art, African dancers, face/body painting and more, the night's festivities are designed to get folks primed for the upcoming Atlanta production of the award-winning musical "Fela!" (which returns to town Feb. 28-March 3). Feb. 15. Free with RSVP. 10 p.m.-2 a.m. 595 North Event Venue, 595 North Ave, NW. 866-286-8405. felaatl.eventbrite.com.
