Weird Al Yankovic performed in front of a nearly sold-out crowd on Sunday at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Hall in the Woodruff Arts Center. Armed with an accordion, keyboard, and jittery dance moves, Yankovic sang his parody renditions of songs made popular by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and others. During his performance he commented on the crowd's appearance. "I have never seen this many tropical shirts in a single venue," he said.

On Saturday, another Trayvon Martin rally was held in downtown Atlanta, this one brought thousands of people to the Richard B. Russell Federal Building on Spring Street. Vietnam veteran Freamon Dixson, waved an upside down American flag during the rally. "The country is in distress," Dixson said.
