It’s getting nigh time to figure out where you want to be kissed on New Year’s Eve. Well, at least the setting for that expected kiss. Here’s a select list of events around town that might spark some spit swapping. (All events take place Dec. 31, unless otherwise noted).

003 NYE Abstract Rhythms presents an event with four distinctive environments of entertainment including music by Aerial, DJ Rhythm, DJ Starboy, Jeff Myers and DJ CSX. All-inclusive event includes food, drinks and entertainment. $80-$100. 9 p.m.-3 a.m. SciTrek, 395 Piedmont Ave. www.003nye.com.
