ZINFANDEL FESTIVAL — Rivermont Country Club is hosting the second annual Zinfandel Festival Mon., April 26, to raise money for the American Institute of Wine & Food Days of Taste Children's Nutritional Program and the Atlanta Food Bank. From 7-9 p.m., the event features more than 120 Zinfandels, a silent auction, and food from more than 10 local restaurants including Cafe Tu Tu Tango, Chicago's and Brio. 3130 Rivermont Parkway, Alpharetta. A TASTING EXTRAVA"GRAND" — The Buckhead Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Atlanta will hold an evening of wine and food Thurs., April 29 to benefit the Zimmerman-Horowitz Independent Living Program. This event, including dishes by executive chef Greg Zeringue and a silent auction, is from 7-10 p.m. Cost for the evening varies by age: $50 for those 35 and younger, $75 for everyone else. 3300 Peachtree Road.
