ELVIS COSTELLO is a familiar and welcome face in these parts, since the rock ‘n’ roll legend usually tours through Atlanta at least once a year. This time around, however, the man formerly known as Declan MacManus will present a special two-part concert MAY 13 at the Fox Theatre. The first half, performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, features “Il Sogno,” his 2004 score for Italian dance company Aterbaletto’s adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The second half focuses on Costello’s four-decade oeuvre. He’s known to play lots of album tracks and rarities while sprinkling a few hits (“Pump It Up,” “Watching the Detectives,” etc.) into the mix to make fans happy. $32-$62. 8 p.m. 660 Peachtree St. 404-817-8700. www.foxtheatre.org.
