Thanksgiving is fast approaching. If the thought of roasting a turkey is more than you can bear, not to worry. Quite a few intown restaurants are whipping up Thanksgiving Day feasts for dine-in or takeout:

103 West hosts its third-annual “Hassle-Free Holiday,” featuring family-style appetizers, roasted turkey, traditional side dishes and lots of dessert. Wine additional. Atkins Park in Virginia-Highland will be serving a family-style dinner beginning at 5:30 on Thanksgiving evening. Food 101 will be serving a family-style dinner with all the trimmings from noon-7 p.m. The price is $29 for adults and $14 for children 5-12. Children under 5 eat free. Chef de cuisine Justin Keith is giving guests a choice of four side items and two meat selections. Included in the price is unlimited salad, fresh-baked breads and trips to the American pie buffet. Meat selections include stuffed leg of lamb filled with herbs and roasted sweet peppers, slow-roasted house-cured ham with Coca-Cola glaze, and Bell and Evans roasted turkey. Mimi’s in a Minute has created a traditional take-home T-Day menu that includes whole fresh-roasted turkey carved off the bone; herb gravy; sauteed corn and pepper relish; steamed green beans; mashed potatoes; sourdough and herb stuffing; and a choice of pie. Pumpkin and gingerbread cheesecakes and cranberry-pecan tarts are also available separately. Cost is $125 for four people, $225 for eight people and $32.50 for a single person. Star Provisions is offering a gourmet take-home Thanksgiving dinner for eight that includes an organically fed and free-range 12- to 14-pound turkey, brined and roasted. Also included: gravy, cranberry-orange relish, sage and apple dressing, sweet potato puree with mini marshmallows, green beans with wild mushroom cream, and pumpkin and apple pies. Cost is $180.
