On Sun., Oct. 11, choreographer Lauri Stallings and gloATL begin their new project, Search Engine. Search Engine is a 24/7 continuum of choreographic situations, social engagement and contemplation at the Atlanta Contemporary’s Secret Garden. Presented by the Goat Farm Arts Center and Tanz Farm, the on-going performance is open to the public and free and starts at 7 p.m. The performances will explore “the spaces in between and an environment where people can meet and exchange with the artists and works of art in the way they want while expanding their sensory journey.” Stop by this Sunday or during the next week as the performances end on Sat., Oct. 17 at. 1 a.m.

Artist Jessica Caldas continues her #3everyday performance piece on Thurs., Oct. 8 at Liberty Plaza. The daily performances during the month of October aim to honor the three women killed every day in the United States by Domestic Violence. Divine Zamir channels her pain following a car accident into her new solo exhibition, (In)ter. Struck by a car while riding her bike home, Zamir used her healing time to hone in her skills as an abstract artist and express quiet thoughts as she recovered on the canvas. Stop by the opening reception on Fri., Oct. 9, at WonderRoot, from 6-9 p.m.

? SATURDAY?Get out of the city and enjoy a night of curated artists on Sat., Oct. 10 at the Ballog at Serenbe. Now on its third year, the Ballog brings together makers such as Crafts and Love, Neva Opet, MESSRS. R/R, Little Barn Apothecary, BE Designs, Broken Window Theory, and more under one roof, along with treats, music and cocktails. So, support local artists while enjoying a King of Pops pop under the stars. The event starts at 6 p.m.
