The Waffle House Cheat Sheet

I came across this picture on Flickr, the image-sharing service.

This dude snapped a picture of the Waffle House chef's cheat sheet. I dunno how in the hell he did that, but he did. He breaks it down for you, too:

The photographs indicate the way in which a cook marks his orders. These secret plate markers allow a Waffle House cook to simultaneously prepare multiple customer orders at once.

Let me give you an example. If I were to order three scrambled eggs, dry wheat toast, and hash browns, the waitress would face the grill and yell out loud - "Mark: Triple scrambled dry wheat plate."

Amazing!! Out of the many times I've walked intoxicated into a WaHo, I would've never remembered all the gobbledygook the waitress communicates to the chef.

Kinda makes you appreciate the art of serving drunks, truck drivers and all the fine folk that dine at this establishment.
