The Second Coming is not only an art exhibit featuring collaborations from prominent A-town artists such as TINDELMICHI, Shana Robbins and Neda Abghari, but a celebration of TCP’s deepening partnership with The Goat Farm, where the event will be held, and where TCP’s artist-in-residency, The Creative Community Housing Project, is located.
Neda Abghari, visual artist and TCP’s executive director, says The Second Coming was largely inspired by the idea of “taking something from the past and giving it new life,” which was gleaned from John Tindel and Michi Miko’s Relics, a mixed media exhibit in Marietta. Under their collaborative name, TINDELMICHI, will be reviving Relics for a new viewership in The Second Coming, along with works from acclaimed mixed media artist, Amandine Drouet, Professor Corrina Sephora Mensoff, and a video collaboration, "Exercise in Self-location," from performance artist Shana Robbins and editorial portrait photographer Neda Abghari in what Abghari describes a deliberate step towards a “different path.”
