During yesterday’s visit to the Savannah Port, Vice President Joe Biden talked about the necessity for the waterway’s deepening. Flanked by Georgia’s political leaders - including Mayor Kasim Reed, U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, and U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson - he called upon his administration to back an “economic,” not a “partisan,” issue. (via Savannah Morning News)
