An Atlanta produced short film features true-to-life underdogs on the come-up
Directed, edited and co-written by Payne Lindsey, the short Atlanta indie Just Like You almost feels like a daily meditation, with Snow On Tha Bluff’s Curtis Snow as self-help guru. Snow narrates while Dr. Dax portrays himself, a graffiti artist. Albino model/actor Sir Maejor (boxer) and songwriter/performer Lewis Blacc (emcee) round out the cast of true-to-life underdogs on the come-up in this Monokrom and Tre Native production.

Dr. Dax is an Atlanta-based graffiti and mural artist. Dr. Dax has seen it all since making Atlanta his permanent residence back in 1985. The accomplished graffiti writer, muralist, photographer, and socialite’s work can be seen anywhere from the buildings on Edgewood Avenue in Old Fourth Ward to inside the clubs of nightlife haunts such as El Bar and Tongue and Groove.
