Filming Updates:
>> It looks like Gwinnett County comissioners have approved a massive movie studio project. Dubbed the Atlanta Media Campus and Studios, here’s the breakdown by the numbers: over 100 acres; and according to the AJC, it could take 10 years of construction to complete the project and an estimated $1 billion in costs.

>> Ant-Man filming will conitue with some exterior scenes in Downtown tonight.

Sightings:
>> Morgan Freeman has been doing bits at Dad’s Garage. Kind of.

>> David Koechner will be doing bits at the Atlanta Improv this weekend. Check out Koechner’s interview with CL where he talks about being “tall ... bald ... funny ... handsome.”

Deals:
>> “The Vampire Diaries” hunk Paul Wesley is set to star in a sci-fi flick called Convergence. Wesley will also produce the film which is slated for production in Shanghai and Atlanta.

>> Who would want to kill Stevie J? Benzino, allegedly. According to TMZ, here’s the real reason Benzino got the axe from “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.”

Castings:
>> Want to make an Old Fashioned for Ryan Gosling? Maybe pour Russell Crowe a glass of Foster’s lager? The Nice Guys needs bartender and waitress types. More specifically, the film needs “people with the real experience as a bartender or cocktail waitress.” As well, as “coordination carrying trays, being behind a bar, etc ...” This is not to be confused with the casting call for “a Mom and Dad type” by the same film. However, details for both can be found here, or email TAMMYSMITHCASTING at GMAIL.COM.

>> Are you a yodeler? As in a “Caucasian Male age 50+ who can actually yodel?” Well, Adult Swim’s “Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell” has a job for you. Be sure to send a headshot, resume, and brief description of your yodeling experience to bpc at bigpicturecasting.com.

>> Call it a tale of two families. NBC is casting for “both tight-knit, inspiring families who are struggling financially and for privileged, affluent families with a passion for philanthropy.” The catch? Families should have at least one child between the ages of 7 and 12 years old. Fill out an app here. Questions go to htohlcasting at gmail.com.

Miscellany:
>> Which Hunger Games character are you? Well, you can decide, and then head over to President Snow’s house the Swan House this Sat., Nov. 22, for a tour of the space that was prominently featured in the Hunger Games: Catching Fire. For me details on what’s being billed as the Swan House Capitol Tour, click here.

>> CNN anchor Don Lemon apologized for his “the using of the teeth” remark made during an interview with an alleged Bill Cosby sexual assault victim. Perhaps it was just another case of Don being Don.

P.S. Don’t tell me about Mockingjay the movie. I’m still reading Mockingjay the book. Thanks. #latepass
