After receiving more than 100 submissions, Dashboard Co-op has chosen their Dash Artists for 2015. Today the organization announced that four artists working in varied mediums and at different stages in their careers will join the roster for the new year. The latest Dashboard artists are Branden Collins, Kirtstin Mitchell, Michael Oliveri, and Erik Thurmond.

In previous years, where as many as 12 artists have been invited to join the group and present works in Atlanta, the decision to scale down in 2015 comes as Dashboard has their sights set on exhibiting locals to audiences outside of the city. Dashboard plans to showcase their diverse artist roster in New Orleans, New York City, and Los Angeles. With this goal in mind, the 2015 Dash Artists will be featured in a group exhibition down in New Orleans this coming Spring, and will each present solo shows sometime over the course of the next two years in the city of their (and Dashboard’s) choosing.

Before you’re ready to say Dashboard’s flying the coop, the organization has also announced a slate of in-town projects coming up as well. Utilizing their gallery spaces at North Avenue and Spring Street, Dashboard will present work from Fly On a Wall, Johnny Drago, and Stephanie Pharr and Orion Crook. Be on the lookout for those ATL-based exhibitions in the coming months.
