Plus, MARTA brawl
- Atlanta Braves
- Surrounding the stadium on the hill is complete darkness
The Cobb County Commission tomorrow night will decide whether the county should take on nearly $400 million in debt to help build the proposed Atlanta Braves stadium. Surprised by the meeting announcement? Details about the vote, which will be followed by the issuance of the bonds later this year, were released after 6 p.m. on Friday. You won't hear any criticism about the sudden vote from the transparency champions at the Marietta Daily Journal, however.
