FLIP Burger Boutique, brainchild of Richard Blais, will open their second Atlanta location this October in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Festival Shopping Center. The location will feature the familiar menu of creative burgers and frosty foie gras shakes.

Buckhead Diner’s executive chef, Joey Riley, has left the building. Riley cooked his last meal at the Buckhead Life Group standby on Sunday. As Tomorrow’s News Today reported back in June, Riley will be moving on to open his own venture, Kaleidoscope, in Brookhaven. Taking control of the kitchen will be Chef Charles Schwab. Before joining the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, Charles worked with Anne Quatrano, Chef/Owner of Bacchanalia, for over eight years and also served as Executive Chef of Blue Ridge Grill. As of now, Schwab plans to maintain the classic Buckhead Diner menu with few changes.

Chef Linda Harrell and 101 Concepts will preview dishes from their newest venture, Cibo E Bevi, this weekend at Food 101. Opening next year in Sandy Springs, Cibo E Bevi (which translates to Grub and Drink) will be Italian casual dining. Harrell, a 101 Concepts veteran, will lead the kitchen with a menu of upscale spins on Italian classics.
