We caught a whiff of the plans for the new permanent outpost of Boner’s BBQ, a culinary group that currently focuses on catering. Their quirky spot is planned for East Atlanta Village and a mobile unit is on the way, too. Owner Andrew Capron, who’s dishes are accompanied by lighthearted names like “420 Baked Beans with Smoked Crack” and “Pink Taco,” has been working to perfect his ‘que recipes for over five years. His goal is to bring the community restaurant quality food at fast food prices, putting an upscale culinary twist on old school techniques. Keep up with the progress on Facebook.
Also in East Atlanta, the East Atlanta Village Farmer’s Market is scouting for new locations. They are currently in the works to move around the corner to Flat Shoals, taking over the gravel lot across from Midway Pub. The market is open weekly from May - November.
